Hi Tez
A warm welcome to our community though we are always a little sorry to see another friend join us here.
Your feelings are incredible common but I am sure your partner is likely to think you just being there is really helpful.
I know what I found was that I had to find a way to cope with my own emotions if I was to be the best for my wife. I did a living with less stress course and it helped me focus on enjoying life on a day to day basis. It also taught me tips on conscious breathing that can be quite helpful for those times life decides to throw us a curveball. Transcendental meditation though just did not really work for me - mostly it just made me laugh.
Keep posting on here whenever you need because we are always here to help.
<<hugs>>
Steve
