My mum has pancreatic cancer she was diagnosed in December she is undergoing chemotherapy but she has rapidly declined.... Just cant stop crying I know she is dying
Hi Claire1832
So sorry to hear about your mum, the effects of chemotherapy I know can be very severe, however nobody would do that unless they believed that there was a gain to be had.
I know how easy it is to get in a cycle of crying and not sleeping, I even asked my GP if I could have something to help me but because of my own medical history this was not his first choice. Instead he prescribed eco-therapy getting out and going for a walk preferably in nature and just listening to the sounds of the birds and the wind. I scoffed a little but it did appear to work. I also have some good talking support through my employers welfare service.
It is amazing what I found I could do - but I needed help to get there. Well done for coming on here too because together we all help each other.
<<hugs>>
Steve
