Hi megan434
Your poor family has been through so much and so sorry to hear about your uncle, as you know I am sure the yellow colour is quite likely to be as a result of jaundice. While of itself that can be treated it does not fix his issues.
It can be easy to affect others at a time like this and I am sure your mum would feel dreadful to know she made you feel guilty. I know when my wife has been in hospital sometimes she might remind me of the need to look after both me and our son. I was poor at looking after myself at times and as a consequence I came close to breaking - helping nobody - 48 days signed off work with stress was perhaps the wakeup call I needed. I did a living with less stress course that really helped me.
Do post whenever but remember if you need to talk there is the helpline too.
<<hugs>>
Steve
