My son's father was transferred to a dedicated cancer unit yesterday. He was diagnosed with tumours on his spine last Monday and he has now been told that he has tumours on his ribs and kidneys. The doctors say the kidney tumours are the primary site and all the others are secondary. Does this mean he is terminal or will he be stabilised and have some quality of life left with my son?
Utterly bewildered mum desperately trying to console my son now
