A rare type of cancer, with is unresectable on top of it, due to various issues. I am constantly anxious about what the next months will bring.

I am not sleeping well, not being able to concentrate in pretty much anything and having a history of depression I decided to get some help

from a therapist to help me down this path. I am not having much help from my brothers either, the whole doctor's visits, oncologists, surgeons,

testings, MRIS and everything is on me. On top of this my mother is suffering from severe knee problems, so she really struggles too. Sometimes

I feel I cannot help both of them and I have to find a solution as to how I can manage to go through this. Sending everyone my best wishes, strength

and health, and hope you have light in your heart and courage! Have a nice day!

  • Hi @margia86,

sorry to read about everything that is happening in your family at the moment. It does sound very challenging and I wonder if your brothers know how much you are struggling - with the workload you have I am not surprised.

I hope you find the therapy useful, it does sound like a very sensible option if only to make some time to focus on yourself. It is all too easy to lose ourselves when we put a lot of effort in to caring for others.

Thanks for the good wishes. very much appreciated.

Thank so very much Steve! I am grateful to have found this community, with people who can relate to what one feels and to one's struggles. Your comment is important to me and sending you a big hug too! I feel like they are in denial, or that they don't really want to get into the whole difficult part of the journey, we all know it is stressful and psychologically draining sometimes. But we can make it, with a little help from our friends, that is what we are here for, to console, hold, share and appreciate each other's journey. I do hope the therapist helps, I am going to update after my appointment as to how it went. Have a quiet day/or night!
