Sorry you have this worry, CT scan's can show up all sorts of things and of course with the history the doctors will want to ensure that anything is checked out. MDT as you probably know just means multi disciplinary team so a whole group of doctors working out what is best in all the circumstances.
Good that they are keeping a close eye on your wife but the cost of that is this which we often call "scanxiety" - whatever happens we will be there to support or cheer.
