Difficult day today it’s my wife’s birthday today and she is having an op today. Removal and reconstruction of a large part of he tongue and a lump in her neck. Dropped her off at Royal Marsden at 7.30 this morning won’t see her again until she comes home. Surgeon should be phoning me late tonight to let me know how things went. I am so worried for her.

With an existing lung condition the op is very dangerous for her but it’s her last option. I hope she is okay.

  • Hi, I  can imagine how scared you must be. It's so hard to just sit and wait for news knowing you can do nothing to help but I'm sure she's in good hands and they'll be doing their best for her

I hope you get some good news from her doctors later and you get to see your wife very soon.

Sending you both love and best wishes xx

  • Hi, was thinking about you and hoping that everything went well with your wife's operation and that you're doing ok x

  • Well that all sounds really positive.  Thats great news.

I bet you can't wait to have her back home now. I hope her recovery continues to go well and that you can see her soon.

I hope you're looking after yourself too

    Take care x
