My dad was diagnosed with early stages of bowl cancer, which was cut away.
He was then given the all clear, 2 months ago, and now it is back in his bowel and in both lungs.
He has to have chemo, and has been told his life expectancy is 6 months to 2 years. He is fit and still working, and is completely fine in himself. I am devastated
Hi and welcome to the online community
I'm very sorry to read that you've recently discovered that your dad's bowel cancer has returned and also spread to his lungs. I can understand why you'd be feeling devastated as it must be an incredibly hard time for the whole family.
I haven't been in your position, as I was the one with cancer, but you might find it helpful to have a look at this information from Macmillan on your feelings when someone has cancer (link).
You may also want to think about joining the Supporting someone with incurable cancer forum group where you can share your worries with others who have a loved one living with cancer. Clicking on the link I've created will take you to the group if you'd like to join.
