My mum is scheduled for radiotherapy as from tomorrow. 5 sessions one per day - at the hospital in a city. For three weeks.
surely it’s far too risky to be around potentially infected COVID19 (or whatever they’re calling it now!) after radiotherapy?!
wouldn't it make sense to hold off?! #concerned
Hi , I noticed your post was unanswered and popped over from Carers. I think if the decision is to go ahead your mum must need the treatment. No one knows for how long things would be held off and it could mean a lot of anguish and serious cancer complications to delay treatment of everyone who has yet to start it. Of course I'm not an expert and I don't know your mother's history, but I understand your concerns so it would be best to speak to her specialist nurse about your concerns.
