My sister has ovarian recurrence, just had second round of chemo, it’s shrunk but still there and is due to start taking Rucaparib. The doc says is palliative chemo and given 2-3 years.
I’m Struggling with the thought of losing her, what she has to go through, how she feels, keeping her happy when we as a family are struggling.
Any help and advice is much appreciated xxx
Hi and welcome the Family and Friends. I noticed your post was unanswered and popped over from Carers. You might like to post in carers too for a wider support base. You're bound to have bad days emotionally, but it's lovely that you try 'keeping her happy' but it's never easy to watch a loved one suffer. It might be a good idea to chat to your GP and ask for counselling to help you cope. You could also pop your post code in here to see if there are any local cancer support groups; it's important to look after ourselves too.
Hugs,
LoobyLou
