Our daughter.in.law has just been diagnosed with cervical cancer. She and our son have an 8 month old baby and we are all in shock. She has had PET/CT scan and we await the results. None of this feels real at the moment so I’m just reaching out to the community for support in the coming weeks and months once we know what stage she has and the treatment she will need.
I'm in a similar situation regarding my mums diagnosis, and I can 100% understand the feeling of nothing being real. I really hope your daughter in law can be helped and cured. In the mean time get lots of hugs off your grandchild, my kids and nephews hugs seem to help somehow. Sending lots of luck xxxxx
Thank you. Yes kids are a delight and a welcome distraction. Wishing you the same luck and best wishes xx
