I am feeling bit lost just now my husband had an incidental finding back in June still waiting on what’s happening been told kidney has to come out been at one surgeon now passed to another also had ct scan got no results now being sent for mri of the veins but have no explanation of why now getting worried it’s spread without being told
I am sorry to hear this! I have to say it is all the waiting that is so stressful! They don’t think they are taking long but it is forever to you waiting isn’t it! I asked how long before you should see an oncologist and I was told 62 days from diagnosis! Perhaps you should ask about this! It is the Nice guidelines!
I hope you get your answers really soon x
I contacted the department regarding why another scan for my husband as no result from first was told sorry but no explanation to why mri of veins after ct of chest abdomen and pelvis can’t understand why they don’t give you results after being passed to surgeons who have looked at ct then ordered a mri to me it’s my husbands life they are playing with as been told by first surgeon no finding back in 2011 so how long has this been growing as apparently slow growing but looked rather large to us when shown the scan of tumour god only knows I am more scared than my husband
I really understand your frustration! I am going through similar anxieties and what I see as errors! Two widely different results from the same scan! I have got to the point that I am collecting sac much evidence as possible to possibly sue them when he is gone! Which after they stop ‘prolonging his life’ will happen!!! I guess when he is no use anymore as a guinea pig! I have tried PALs but they won’t speak to me as a relative!!! I am so angry with this shoddy attitude that I am going to stay away! It has made me ill!!’
I am not sure what you can do now, can you contact PALs! You sort of end up between departments don’t you? Big hugs to you x
