Hello my sister is now limited to months to live after being told that her cancer had gone in the summer. Its is so cruel. Are there any support groups that I can attend locally? I feel going to one would really help me. Thank you. Xxxx
Morning
So sorry to see you joining us here and reading about your sister :-/
This disease can be so cruel, it can change, spread, and be ellusive until when a result comes through it comes through too late.
There is this Supporting Someone With Incurable Cancer Group you could join to 'chat' with other carers and loved ones of incurable patients.
If there are any near to you Maggies Centre's and Marie Curie are a great support at these times. Just click/tap any of these links to check them out to see if any could be of help to you both.
You can also use the "In Your Area" button at the top of this page, then type your postcode or nearest town name into the search bar and it will list any support centres nearby who have registered with Macmillan.
Is you sister having any further treatments, or is she now on palliative care ? There is also a Carers Only Group if you will be caring for your sister.
Hope this is of some help at a worrying time, G n' J
Thank you ofr the advice Draemthief. My sister will be having more chemo from tomorrow. I have suggested that she does a trial as well in hope this will extend her life for longer XX
