Mum had a full day at christies on fri
She had a new chemo drug and mri scan
She has had 1 bit of chemo on fri and has the other bit on tues
Can someone please tell me why she would have to have more and different chemo

I can't answer your question, not having had chemo for breast cancer myself, but I noticed that your post had gone unanswered.
Could I suggest that you also post this question in the breast cancer group as I think you're more likely to get an answer from the people there about the different types of chemotherapy for breast cancer. It would probably be useful to put the names of the chemotherapy treatments in your post as well.
The breast cancer group has a monthly thread dedicated to chemotherapy so it might be worth your while scrolling through the posts to look at that.
