Covid Vaccine

Hi

It's natural to wonder whether it's safe to have the coronavirus vaccine or not especially when you're given conflicting information. I've used the search facility in this group to see if anyone else has mentioned having it but no one has so far.

I can see that you also posted this in the breast cancer group and that you've had replies there. This is the link to the information that Macmillan have produced on cancer and coronavirus that was mentioned in one of your replies.

Aaw thanks for your reply. Have read all information on here and decided if I get offered in next 6 weeks until I finish my chemo, I'll prob take it.

Hi Latchbrook just noticed your msg I have TNBC diagnosed in October I’ve had my 12 weeks of taxol and carbo and waiting for my 4 doses of EC once every 3 weeks. I’ve had one COVID vaccine during my 3 week break it was the Oxford Astra Zenica one felt a bit rough for 24 hrs but was fine after that. Can I ask how was your EC chemo? I’m a bit anxious for this as tolerated taxol and carbo very well and cold capped. My hair has thinned but worried it’s going to get worse with EC. Have you any advice? Thank you

I'm sorry to see that you have been diagnosed with TNBC but glad to hear that you coped with your Covid vaccine.

I'm afraid I can't help with any experience of EC chemo as it was Nottoday who had it not me. However, if you start a post in the breast cancer group I'm sure you'll find lots of people who will be willing to share their experiences with you.
