My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer (with lymph nodes) April last year and has been having immunotherapy. He’s only 47. I am looking a him as best I can but I have to continue working full time, and I also have kidney disease and lupus and going through perimenopause so it’s lot!
My doctor suggested a macmillan nurse but my question is what support can they offer? We haven’t given up hope; he’s had a good response so far. I thought Macmillan nurses just helped at end of life. Unless they do ironing and cleaning (joke!) I’m not sure what they could offer at this stage?
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
