My mum needs admitting to hospital her inflammatory markers are through the roof, low blood pressure now bloods are showing diabetic. She's in pain and so pale, we saw the gp at our doctors surgery this morning who is concerned and said she needs admitting but the oncology ward has hard an outbreak of covid so closed to new patients, the other wards have no beds and said she will have to go through A&E but looking over 24-48 hour wait.. This is just bonkers.. This NHS is on its knees. Now I'm left with all of this to sort over the weekend as I'm my mums carer and I'm struggling on what to do.. I feel like I'm going to have a breakdown myself x
Hi Sqirrel87 welcome to the forum. Given the worry over your mum and thats including her GP, if you are at all worried then I would be phoning an Ambulance. I understand that this may mean her being admitted to hospital or unless they are able to send someone from out of hours out to attend to her at home which may or may not be an option.
