Hi, I am caring for my mum, who had breast cancer last year, and by November, it had cleared.
Fast forward to this year, she complained about an aching body and lacking energy. At first, we thought it could be side effects from immunotherapy, but from doctors suggesting an MRI, I found out last week that it had spread to her brain.
I am so scared and haven't been able to tell her yet. I am 26 years old and an only child.
The back and forth to hospitals can be exhausting, as well as taking all the information in from doctors and trying to stay positive whilst working from home.
I'm trying my best to stay positive, but it's hard.
Hi Amma1 welcome to the forum and i am so sorry to hear the news that you have had.
Im unclear why you have to impart that news to your mum as this type of news would usually be given by a Consultant or a specialist Nurse and someone who could answer any questions that you all may have???? Its all hard for you and your family and if it is of any use and you felt able to you could give the Macmillan Line a call and see if they can offer any support for you to never feel alone. 08088080000.
