My beautiful wife has been battling breast cancer for the last 17 years. Unfortunately over the last few months it has spread to her brain and she was taken to a hospice last week. On Wednesday the medical team stopped her treatment and there is nothing more that can be done. It is now just a matter of time. I am devastated but have to keep strong for my poor daughter who is only 17, my two stepsons and their children. These are truly the worst of times. Never miss an opportunity to tell your partner and your family how much you love them.
This is heartbreaking and I'm sorry you are having to go through this. I think it's okay to show your vulnerability to your daughter. I'm sure she will appreciate your honesty and the opportunity to support you as you wish to do to her. It's times like these you can all support each other & know you don't have to hold it together. I hope you are able to make your wife as comfortable as possible. Sending all my love. X
