I set up a call system for my wife, using simple wireless door bells, I had 6 around the house, so practically anywhere she was, she was able to ‘ring’ for me. Gave us both peace of mind.
the main consideration is that the buttons will ‘pair’ with multiple sounders, I found a make which did this, such that any button operated ALL the sounders. Not sure if other makes allow this, but the one I know works is TECKNET Wireless Doorbell. This is not an advert, it’s just it took me ages to find a suitable door bell for the purposes outlined.
There is quite a lot of information on the carers uk site of all sorts of different systems. With my mum perhaps the most useful of all was the fall detector - we kept it attached to her zimmer frame! www.carersuk.org/.../remote-alerts

we were also given a detector to tell when a cup was full, but it fell apart, looked like a horrible Chinese product. Do you have a link for the recommendations I’d like to include mine
