My husband was diagnosed in march with Diffuse B Cell Lymphoma ( he is only 52 )... Honestly it hit us like a brick wall .. I feel like the last few months have been a blur, my husband is part way through a course of chemo but has now got a blood clot on his lung which is delaying further treatment... I have still been working but am feeling very guilty for leaving him everyday to go to work. Emotions all over I'm trying to stay strong for him and positive but feel like this disease has stolen so much. Our daughter has grown moved out and is getting married .. we were so looking forward to our time ( is that selfish )
Don't worry at all, you need to be strong for him and you can support him better if you carry on working. Its important to keep on with normality otherwise things start looking fake.He will get 6 sessions of RCHOP and the finger crossed, things will work out for him.In most of cases, chemo leaves side effects, so they need to be treated first before going ahead with further chemo
