Life in limbo

Anyone else feel like their life is in limbo while caring for a loved one and then feeling so guilty for feeling that way?  I feel like life is on hold.  I don't feel I can plan and when I do think of a time when it might be possible to do certain things it will mean that life has changed forever in the most awful way.  I can't sleep and I feel every knock at door or phonecall is the next disaster.  I am anxious all the time, sleeping with one ear open for the next drama.

  • I understand how you are feeling my partner of 24 years was diagnosed with lung cancer on 13 April.

Since then we have both been in limbo, we have only told people we needed to tell (family and a few friends) because we don't have any details yet

We are going to see a respitory specialist nurse on Tuesday 26th April, it's been a long 11 days with no detailed information.

Understandably my partner feelings and emotions are all over the place at the moment. Please find someone to talk to and remember to take care of yourself.
