Hi

I am beginning to worry that my elderly father suffering from bladder cancer is becoming vague and disinterested. He has become more and more frail but he has suddenly changed he is slightly snappy and difficult to please especially with his meals. I am never sure if I am worrying about nothing. Is this something I should discuss with his doctor?

Check with his GP whether he needs a urine sample test. Ordinary bladder infections can cause confusion in the elderly and that can only be more complicated with cancer of the bladder l imagine.
