After an 18 month struggle with Lung Cancer my darling husband, David, was told he had tumours in his brain.
On the 19th January he was told there were no further options for treatment.
On his birthday, 3rd February, he was admitted to Forest Holme Hospice.
My darling David passed away yesterday evening. I’m feeling so lost, no more caring duties to perform, no more cosy chats in an evenings, no more smiles and laughter, no more David.
The family are being so supportive, but this b@st@rd Covid is in the way. It’s robbed us, as it has so many, of a year of making happy memories to be treasured, of friends support and family when we needed them most,
I hope and pray for all of you who are on your continuing journey that your friends and family can be with you.
Oh Vesmal, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Sending love and hugs to you and your family.

ps You're right- Covid is stealing so much time from those who have so little left. x

So very sorry to read of your loss, and yes, made even more devastating in this pandemic when all we want is hugs from our loved ones. Such a dreadful time.
