Hi all.
I thought I'd share about a few positive moments we enjoyed last night. Maybe not strictly in line with the current local COVID restrictions but my daughter had bought my husband and I tickets to visit a Halloween lights show at Glasgow's Botanic Gardens called GlasGLOW. In all honesty it wasn't worth the money (£18 a head to walk round the park seemed steep, fancy lights or no fancy lights) but for that hour life felt "normal" again. Yes. he was knackered. Yes, my daughter and I were worried that the flashing colourful lights might caught a seizure or that he'd slip and fall but it was fine. The event itself was well run - good social distancing, masks on, one way system etc so the one thing I wasn't stressing about was COVID. For me, it was great to be out and about and among "socially distanced" people.
A moment of colourful light relief in this dark journey.
