Husband has small cell lung cancer stage 4 he has now been told he also has a brain tumour. He is getting a another course of chemo and it is taking a lot out of him
Hi @jake23, sorry to hear this. Some chemotherapy is harder than others but the doctors would not offer it unless they though it would make a difference. It is important of course to keep on top of any side effects. Hopefully this round will be the change that makes a difference. For my wife her second round of chemotherapy seems to have stopped her cancer and while it is still there it is not changing and we make the most of life. The other plus is once the chemotherapy is over recovery from the side effects is usually quick.
<<hugs>>
Steve
