Hi I am a carer for my Hubby & hes due to remain in Lockdown as I understand for a long while yet. There is no way that we want to go out,as I am not certain that this Virus will be gone.Hes also got other issues, hes severely sighted & deaf.I too have osteoarthritis in hips & knees.! And am utterly exhausted. Although shops are open I am unable to stand in a long queue. There seems no one who can give any advise.I am beyond terrified if I go out & the following week show signs of the virus.I have no one to care for me.I am not sleeping at all well.Family are not close by .Its difficult!! Anyway sorry to rant. But I am anxious. Regards Amanda h
If you check your local council website they should have contact details of local volunteer groups who are doing wonderful work looking after vulnerable people trapped at home. There are shopping delivery groups ,people who will collect and deliver medicines even mundane but difficult tasks like putting out waste bins. You are exactly the kind of people most in need of this help. Bless you, l know its tough ,we get worn down . Goid luck.
