Hi, new here. My dad is in his final few days/weeks. I only live 30 minutes away but I’m terrified of not being with him at the end. Is this normal or morbid??
Hi there, I don't think it's unusual or morbid to have concerns. It's a time of huge stress and worry. Hopefully you will manage to be there, but rememberif you dont, you have loved him and been there for him for many, many years, he knows how much you love him. Try not to let what if scenarios spoil the time you have left, concentrate on the here and now. Be kind to yourself, you will wear yourself out otherwise,. You are doing a great job I'm sure xx
