Yet another mess up by doctor today. I’ve been in 3 times to surgery to order capsules and have been given tablets and caplets which she can’t swallow. So frustrating
Hi , I understand how frustrating this can be - I wonder if it might be worth talking to the pharmacist where you get the prescriptions as they might be able to make sure you get the medicine she needs.
Oh this has happened to me as well. I've found two things help first, because I can order prescriptions online to my surgery you can place a note for the doctor prescribing to make sure its caplets and second I always check the actual box when presented at the pharmacy. At that point because you haven't taken them away you should be abale to query it and get them to change them.
Also I always use the same pharmacy so they get to know you. I agree, it is blooming frustrating!! Good luck!
