I dont expect an answer.  No one ever does.

But I am feeling invisible.

  • His chemo fatigue is here with a vengeance.  He is lying next to me snoring his head off, totally oblivious.

I know he is sick, but Im a person  too.  Ive mentioned before about how different he is with his mates.  Yes he feels comfortable with me.

It is our 45th wedding anniversary tomorrow.  What's the betting he forgets, but remembers one of his mates birthdays.

Happy Sunday all.

  • Sounds familiar. It's easy to lose your sense of self. Your role seems to diminish from husband, wife, partner etc to carer. Generally, the first question I'm asked is how my other half is doing. But I guess that is the way of things - and I do see it as a privilege to be looking after her so I willingly carry on.
