Hello Everyone,
My mother was offered to make a decision for standard chemotherapy with one or two drugs and or choose to be a part of a test group based on ctDNA. I wanted to come here and ask if anyone has heard of or participated in the test group ctDNA. There is a hard decision to make now because we have read the information pack on both but feel there are concerns. This ctDNA is for an individual with stage 2 or 3 colonial cancer. If anyone has any information or advice, please comment. Thank you
Hi Si0bhanA
I don't have the experience you're looking for and I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you also post this in the bowel cancer forum, which I can see you've joined. You may then connect directly with others who have been on this treatment or part of the test group.
It would be great if you could put something about your mum's diagnosis and treatment to date into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
