I let I should remove the signature straight away....with some sadness. I hope it is the right thing to do.
We have come a long way in the last two years. I never thought I would be this happy again.
Hope your daughter is ok Moomy, I'm sure you will never stop worrying.
I will still pop in from time to time, and you can pm me anytime.
Hi Lynda,
Yes I did the same, was not quite sure and it felt odd, but removing that signature was a big step, as I guess it will be for you too.
Yes, I worry about daughter but as she is still (her immune system) only just over five years old, she still will catch lots of bugs, till she's developed more immunity. She's been left with the after effects of those years of treatment, too, of course, but she is alive, which is wonderful. Especially when she told me only a year or so ago that she had even planned where she wanted to die and how. Oh that was gutting.....
Still, we plough on because we must.....but we are different and all are more content and living each day with joy in our hearts
Love and hugs to all here xxx

Hello everyone,
I've been missing this chatty, all about life, 24 hours a day (hence the title) group.
To any newbies, this is (in imagination of course!) a comfy big room, with wide, bifold doors opening onto a lovely garden. It has comfy big sofas and chairs, books if anyone wants to read, coffee table books too with beautiful photos for those who don't feel up to getting into a long read. It has a little kitchen off in an alcove with fridge, freezer, mini cooker and microwave, kettle and coffee maker of your choice. In case of chilly days and evenings it has a wood burning stove and cute fleeces to snuggle into and wrap round yourself.
Best of all, there are faeries who look after everything, all you need is here, ready to use, eat, drink or whatever, and cared for. If you'd like to bring along anything (cyber) special, that's fine, but don't feel you have to!
Just come on in, make yourself comfy, feel at home and have a chat with anyone you wish to!
I've just popped in with some fresh berries (Tay and loganberries) from the garden, they go really well with the teeny meringues and squirty cream that you'll find in the kitchen. Help yourself!
Hugs to all xxx

Hi Helen,
Yes, I'm fine thank you, started yoga which I'm finding quite challenging, it's a surprisingly good workout!
And daughter is home after almost a month in the USA, women's brass conference where she did a recital, a holiday with good friends (I went too, last year) and international trombone festival where she was just busy, next year she is president. She was busy running auctions, raffles and doing some filming.
Good to have her in the same time zone again!

Hi Moirs,
I began yoga too, it seems gentle but is.pretty thorough. I'm doing Hatha yoga and she insists we should only do what feels confortable (but my old body is so stiff and unyielding that it ends up quite strenuous!)
So as its so hot and my class was last night I'm feeling pretty tired today! I do find I sleep well afterwards though....
Glass of Pimms, anyone? The tennis is on.......

Ooh yes please Moomy,
Popped some strawberries and cream in the fridge as well, so plenty for tomorrow.
I'm hoping the yoga will decrease my anxiety levels, relaxation CD's help but I need some human company not just a voice on a CD!
For now I will settle down on one of these comfy sofas and enjoy the fading light
Sweet dreams all

Hi, it's hot hot hot.....
Crept in quietly, Moira still curled up on the sofa, faeries popped a fleece around her and shut the bifold doors, I don't think it woke her!
I'm out for tea today, it's our lymphoma support group's summer treat to ourselves, not too sure what to wear as the forecast is possible thunderstorms. We go to a local garden centre, the cafe is nice. Normally we meet once a month for support, speakers, chats, tea and biscuits, so a more casual afternoon tea and socialising is great. We usually meet for a Christmas lunch too.
Have a lazy day, everyone, it's too hot to do more! (Can't think how the tennis stars can play as hard as they do in this heat!)
