Just a bit of history, there were originally only two forums( or should that be fora?) on the site, one called general cancer discussions, the other called chat.....there was a thread that many gravitated to, me included, entitled 24/7 as folk could indeed post any time of day or night, some from overseas posted in their daytime which was our night!

Bumping! 

Hope all your Christmases were as good as they could be? 

We are just beginning to return to normal, our 'Christmas' was Saturday through to Sunday, both kids and their partners were here, plus dog.....well fed watered, and present-ed, and we all played Cranium till the early hours of Sunday. 

Then unfortunately, son's new alarm system played up and they had to go after breakfast to see what had happened ( nothing, fortunately, but it had been set off by a power cut) but daughter and partner stayed till later and a safe long journey back north.

Hope all are as well as possible.

Hello Moomy ... nice to see this thread and it reminded me of the ' Whistle Stop Sofa Room ' days of yore where I may have popped in one or twice - was that so long ago now ? !

I seem to remember these extraordinary ' house cleaning faeries ' who kept the room nice and tidy, plumped up the big squishy cushions and kept the fire burning brightly on the chilly days ... fond memories.

Yes, this room does indeed have those cleaning and catering fairies, Joycee, and thank you for making it a group, Michael! 

The fairies occasionally leave some brilliant snacks as well as keeping a lovely warm fire lit, sofas are ones to really sink into......Do pop in!
