Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Morning all
It's lovely to read about pets. I had a cat when we got married but unfortunately we had to rehome her as Sarah (daughter) had childhood asthma, I was so upset but it had to be done. We've not had a pet since.
We're taking my sister & BiL to see Thora & Remy this afternoon, that’s our only plan for today.

We had piggies as well probably about 30 in total over the years. I had my first rescue one when my mum had dementia she came from a school where the children had flushed her and her sister down the loo! Her sister didn’t survive. When I’d had a bad day with my mum Molly used to sit on my lap and cuddle up to me. They really are lovely creatures.

Sadly, we can't do furry pets as my OH and son are allergic to furry animals. We did have 3 fancy goldfish when the children were little (one each) but they were a pain! Kept getting swim bladder problems and did the children help to clean them out?? No!! The novelty soon more off!!!! They lasted for years as well (the fish that is!! )
Morning Helen
The bruising's not good, and it must be awful for those with a fear of needles too. OH had so many tubes attached post surgery, I didn't know if one of them was a PICC line, but more than likely.
Such a shame about your kitty, but you do what you have to lovey.
I'm sure seeing Thora and Remy will be really enjoyable for your sister today, so have a lovely time, all of you xxx
