“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Well much better than expected for the mad reason junior doctor misread hubby scan, words could be used here.....CT scan shows it isn't showing as spread to lymphs at this stage but PET scan to come, so hoping it stays that way. Fairly speechless about it but great mew news x
He's in gastric ward and getting tube today. As l wrote somewhere further down they misread scan, ar moment not spread to lymph but PET scan to come, so pleased but you'd think they'd get that right.
So emotional rollercoaster continues. But better day today x thanks to you and all who have been kind.
Hubby's veins gone in glucose drip thing all bruised.
Had to laugh, l arrived and he was flat on his back like a starfish with nurses around bed. I was worried that he'd had a turn. He made a gurgling sound and l thought oh no what's happening. Turned out he had got into bed could find the controls, then they came to fix needle in bruised arm, he couldn't reach his cup to spit saliva. So it looked bad but wasn't
