Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

No sponsorship!! Tesco knows me as the old geezer who hobbles around asking every member of staff why they have stopped selling Garibaldi - after staring for ages at the vacant shelf where they used to be, then wandering round to the currant scones which are now at a floor level shelf which I can't stoop down to reach, so ask for assistance. They must love me . Ray x
I bet they do really, Ray. I love hearing your tales of hunting down goodies. My latest penchant is their Red Velvet cake - the creamy stuff on top is to die for, which I probably will if I carry on scoffing them at this rate of knots! I'm even thinking of going in the kitchen now and cutting a slice, but I'll refrain, not cos it's too far to walk but because I'm too bone idle to shift off the sofa. My one saving grace xxx
Good Morning Ray (RayMK)
Never mind Tesco (other superstores are available ) Mrs Millibob bakes her own Garibaldi's and they are wonderful.
I am not saying she's a good cook but on 3 years Hormone Therapy for Prostate Cancer I put on 3.5 stone and said it was a side effect of the medication!! . I am now on Ozempic - the weight loss jab!!
Memo to self - ask the Community Team for an emoji of a Garibaldi.
Best wishes - Brian.

Hi Ray,
Your post reminded me of when I passed my test in the 70s. I was 18 or 19, still living at home and wanting to borrow their car. The funny thing was that by that point I no longer had a curfew, but the car did!!
congrats to your son Julie and rest well
Thank you Rose. It was a long time coming!
I would never have passed in a different place to where I live. The whole driving test situation is a bit of a mess right now!
Actually, just managed a trip to the garden centre. Lovely to ge out in the fresh air, despite the rain !!
Julie xx
