Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

True. Ours has a friendly atmosphere with aromas from the coffee and hot chocolate, plus my weakness: a toasted bacon bap. I could drive down there but parking is such a faff and then there's the walk. With the scooter, it is door to door, with options to trundle along the pedestrian only routes away from the houses, even through the churchyard or a stop to watch the ducks in the small river/brook. Total return distance is only about a mile but, being a pavement scooter, 4mph makes it a pleasantly leisurely jaunt. Ray x
Hi again Ray. Not too bad here thanks, just the usual Groundhog Day stuff. That's good news about your scooter, so you can get out and about more. I'll tell you what I noticed in our smallish Tesco's yesterday - black forest gateau in the frozen aisle! I was tempted to get one for us, but thought we'd better shift all the other chocolate goodies first - that won't take us too long.
We went in Costa the other week, but only because the hospital has one on site and we were waiting for the taxi home. I did have a delicious piece of cake with the coffee though xxx
Poor you, Julie. I feel really sorry for OH when they can't find a vein - he usually looks at me like I can do something to help after they've had five attempts. Other than slotting the nurse, and security getting called, I'm helpless!
I hope any bruising clears quickly sweetheart xxx
Can you not ask about a picc line it is much easier when hàveing treatment
It was for Julie sorry gill done it again
You're a legend Lynne! Thanks for giving me a chuckle doll xxx
