Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Like you I had a notification this morning of a post - and it was for one the member had deleted themselves - the original post was a couple of months ago.
Sometimes a post may be posted and then ends up being moderated so that will not show although you may be sent a notification of it's original posting.
I hope the above helps.
Best wishes - Brian

I am a Macmillan volunteer.
I hope all is well with you and your OH. I'm continuing to manage ok, with the help of my son and daughter who deal with the heavier tasks e.g. lawn mowing and fighting my duvet in to a fresh cover after stripping the bed. I am busy charging old batteries for my ancient mobility scooter. It has been partially hiding behind my settee for many months, unused, simply because it is a heavy old thing and a pain to get it out of the house. With my son having shifted his motorbike elsewhere, there's now a space in the garage again. The scooter can go back to llving there and will also be more easily usable for a trip to Costa in town now and then. It will be my peak of excitement. No Costa Brava for me . Ray xx
