Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hi Brian
Thank you so much-it’s worth marking all these special days which we can’t ever forget!
I had no more than a cup of tea and 2 nana naps as it goes but it’s been a good day, supervising OH constructing a new clothes rail for me since I am challenged when facing multiple poles and brackets! All in place now though and clothes organised.
I hope you are enjoying pleasant weather on your holiday and managing to enjoy the odd Efes here and there. I can tell you that sugar and calories will be forgotten when I finally get on my holidays and I fully intend to enjoy every minute!

So glad you are finding the group helpful, Julie. I never joined the forum myself until I’d gone through all my treatment and surgery and I should have. There’s such a lovely bunch of people for support and encouragement here and I wouldn’t have felt so lonely,
There are still things we can laugh about despite cancer and treatment, but it’s good to have others who can understand and pick us up when we’re feeling low.
It’s a good idea to be keeping yourself busy in the lull before chemo starts-get yourself organised before treatment gets going since you won’t now how it feels till you start. But fingers crossed it will run smoothly for you, and you’ll know where we all are if you need us-any time.

This is lovely news Kez-so pleased to read this great result for you!

Hi Gill
Not nosey at all! Going to our usual place-Costa Teguise in Lanzarote, but not until June. Need to hope that OH has the gallbladder removal in plenty time, so we’ll be pushing the consultant about that on Thursday.
The bile duct stent will need to be taken out first, but that just a day in hospital procedure if there are no complications with that. We need our holiday, so fingers crossed!
