Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Me too (getting logged out for security reasons). Also, I sometimes have to prove I'm not a robot and just now and then when logged in and about to post a reply, a help/caution message will pop up, presumably triggered by software which detects key words or phrases. It can be a bit disconcerting at first but it's completely understandable that Macmillan wants to keep us all safe for legal and other reasons, particularly as these forums deal with such potentially sensitive subject matter.
Some of you have been basking in sunny weather. My area also had a forecast for sun and warmth but so far we've only had a few hours of sun yesterday. At least the daffodils in the garden and today lots of daisies blooming on the lawn have brightened the scene through my kitchen window when doing the washing-up. Ray x
Afternoon Ray That sounds smashing and I agree with you, it's really cheering to see the flowers coming out. Our little patch of snowdrops is still looking good.
We had a good three days of pretty warm and sunny weather, so I took full advantage and caught up with all the big stuff with regards the washing and drying. Back to rain and a nippy wind today - suits me buddy xxx
Hello Ray and Others
I am sorry about the issue of you being logged out and having to prove you are human - this is a known problem and the tech team are on the case.
As for the pop up warnings, yes there are “trigger” words and if you use one you may well see a warning checking on your wellbeing.
As you say we do deal with sensitive subjects and very vulnerable people.
Thanks for your support and understanding.
Best wishes - Brian.

Dread the evenings coming to an end , my poor partner , we watch box sets until 3am in bed , then I sleep but wake around 7am . Can’t sleep in the day and just feel so tired all time
Evening Helen
This is great news to read-I’m really happy for you! Waiting for scans and results is so stressful, so it’s lovely to have 6 months off from that. I think this might be cause for a wee celebration tonight or over the weekend.
Sarah xx
So happy you both must be a big relief sending lots of hugs xxx
