Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Spoke too soon, blood results through in the app this morning and white and red cell counts have dropped below normal... maybe just as well I'm getting a week off next week due to our bank hol... hopefully to be expected with paclitaxel and maybe as long as doesn't drop too low
Sorry to hear that, alghough that look suited Sinead so I'm sure you wear it well
My chemo was delayed a week after a blood test showed low white blood cells, the following week it was OK again. I also had paclitaxel, & carboplatin. One blood test showed low magnesium so I had to have an infusion to try to correct that.

There was a delay getting blood results back yesterday, I've a funny feeling they gave up in the end and went ahead with it knowing I'd have a week off next week anyway
Hi Helen. Is it meds making you feel sick? Must be rotten for you love. I'm feeling a bit iffy but it's my own fault - stuffing a Bounty down straight after a Yorkie. They're only small bars though; that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. Trouble is, I've got a multi pack of Crunchies in the treat tin...
Gill xx
Fair play to you that they're still there Gill, nothing survives for too long in my treat cupboard... the only thing that helps me is if I can stop myself from buying them in the first place... had to get milk on the way home last night and it took all my willpower to walk past the crisps and chocolate!
You've got far more willpower than me Stevie. I do all the shopping so I've got free rein on everything I buy. It's not good though, as I keep heading towards the sweets and crisps aisle. Tight waistbands ahoy! I must make a better effort round the fruit and veg but I don't like the latter unless it's raw. How about yourself - raw v cooked?
