Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Morning Helen and thank you for your well wishes.
Once those appointments are done we'll return to our daily routine, fingers crossed. We should be used to them by now, but although OH seems ok I always get the wobbles! I'm going to set about my colouring books later to get my mind elsewhere.
Enjoy your day doll xxx
Morning Doreen.
Sorry to hear you've been upset after your conversation with the girl at the Centre. I'm sure she didn't intentionally mean to distress you, as she probably knows nothing much about you, so try not to take things to heart. Don't let anything put you off attending either, as getting out is always a big plus.
Sending you hugs xxx
Hi Sarah
I've finally caught up with my chores, so can reply now. My guess is Krakow must be your spiritual home to have that affinity, and although unlikely right now, would you like to live there if you had the opportunity? I'd quite like to move back to my hometown - it's only two miles from here, but two miles further away from MiL who's far too close for comfort!
I'd love to dig in to my ancestry too, but my cousin did, several years ago. My Austrian mam and her sister married my English dad and his brother, so us cousins are very closely related. He already knew that our paternal great-Oma was a countess within the Austro-Hungarian empire, but discovered she was very wealthy and lived in a chateau. All that went in the late 1800s during uprisings, and she fled to a small village in Austria with little to show of any wealth. Several of my relatives, including myself, have a watered-down version of the 'Habsburg jaw', so we could be distantly related to that empire somewhere down the line. Who knows, but I'd have some tasty ancestors and maybe Marie Antoinette!
That's fascinating about your regression, although I can't imagine you flailing around like it's depicted in films! What I'd like to know is were you aware and did your unconscious throw up any images? I love that sort of thing.
We've got an early start tomorrow, so I'll have to be sensible and take off my night owl badge tonight. Your knock out meds seemed to do the trick for you last night! xxx
yeah she didn't Kown that but im sure I told her but I can't remember i dont Kown what to do anymore im grateful what ur saying i just wish I didn't feel so scared my doctor has put me on more new anxiety medication to try and carm me down i just hope im not going to be like every time I go to the hospital for my 6 months cheek up im waiting for coulling not sure how long iv got to wait its on the n.h.s
Evening Doreen. My OH had a one off counselling session last year and did have quite a wait before he was seen. You could always phone and ask the doctor/department that referred you, just so you'll get an idea.
Give the meds a chance to work sweetheart. I always read the leaflet that comes inside all boxes of meds, and I know it's boring but it gives you an idea of what to expect from them. Try and relax tonight and you might get a better sleep xxx
