“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

I am sure you will in time, and your doing all the right things and you have had a more postive week from the soinds of it too. Its not easy when the mind suddenly takes over. Take each day and try and do at least one thing you enjoy doing. It dont have to be anything big. Read a chapter of favourite book, blast some music which lifts your mood, or bake something. Just some little ideas.
Thank you Kez. You know the supprt in these groups from you all, really does keep me more positive then negative. Been sleeping a little better to. Although I think the nerves may kick in later xx
