Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Thank you Kez We already know about the work OH needs on his teeth - unfortunately the radiation to his head and neck had an effect but not brushing them enough when he came home also contributed to the decay. That's why I'm expecting a ticking off from the hygienist, and as I do all the talking I'm often lumped in too! I'm his whipping boy. Hehe. Hugs sweetheart xxx
Immediately after posting the above, the hospital phoned to cancel as the hygienist is poorly. Bah humbug! But the new appt next Friday is in the morning, so that's actually better for us xxx
Thank you. I am looking forward to getting started. It will be a wonderful addition to my own cancer journey and happy to give back when I can. It also helps me think and process my own journey too and its been a true blessing x
I am truly made up and really given me a big boost to keep going. I cant express in words (rare for me) how this whole experience has made me feel and the positive impact on my health both physically and mentally. You are all amazing people from the champions, to the carers of others and those who are going through this too.
So a big thanks to you xx
