“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Anyone awake? Thought I was ok & would sleep but no. Waiting for neurology appt Wednesday to find out what scans of my brain are showing. Hadn't had any symptoms but now aware of every sensation in my head, and even more so when I lay down. Anyone else experienced this?

Not sure I posted in the right place below. So anyone awake tonight? Thoght I was calm and would sleep but no. Have appointment Wednesday with neurologist to find out what it is they found on my brain scans. Hadn't had any symptoms but now feel every sensation in my head and especially when laying down so can't relax and sleep. Anyone else had this?

No love, I've not experienced what you're currently going through, but there will be a forum specific to it - unsure what the group is but a champion will be able to provide the link later on.

Has your team at the hospital given you any meds yet, in case you do get headaches? Don't wait till Wednesday if you need some help as you'll be anxious enough without further stress. Just a thought sweetheart xxx
