Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Get well soon Helen hope you can shake off the cold .i find Vicks on your feet . flu tablets and a nice cup of Oxo works a treat sending hugs wrap up warm
Lynne: Vicks and Oxo brought back memories of childhood colds. If my brother and I caught a cold, mum would find the small, dedicated, white enamel rectangular dish, pour hot water into it, add a few drops of Friars Balsam, then sit either of us at the table staring at the steaming concoction. A towel was then placed over our head and the dish for 5-10 minutes of very warm inhalation. A hot cup of Oxo followed at bedtime. Not heard of Vicks on the feet until much more recently - for dealing with fungal toenails! Delightful, but it all seemed to work. I don't think we had paracetamol back then, just an occasional aspirin. Fortunately I rarely get colds now. I hope yours eases soon Sbird. Ray x
