Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Well done and here's hoping for a good drying day! Thankfully I did mine yesterday - cloudy and nippy here in West Yorkshire at present.
Have you got any plans for today or plumping for a relaxing one? Exercise class for us this morning (groan) but no exertions after, hopefully.
Whatever you have in store, enjoy to the max! Hugs xxx
Hi there Rose Rose, or...Rose, Rosie, Rosé... whichever you prefer!
Hey, we've got a lovely rose bush in the garden - well we had till I took the secateurs to it. My washing line broke the other week and when I strung a new one up, the bush had grown so tall it was in the way, so I'd no option than to lop it right down. I hope it grows back ok?
Well now you know what tripe I waffle, I'm all ears to chat about anything you like. And welcome to the forum!
Gill xx
Hi Gill, my grandma used to have a full rose garden, reds pinks yellows and white roses, she was always out pruning them and always had roses in a vase on the dining table, when she passed last November she had a single red rose on her coffin, she always wore bright red lipstick so in her memory I went and got a small red rose tattoo..
last time we spoke you mentioned how you travelled to the hospital so I looked into it and there’s a free a bus that does regular trips throughout the day for my area too, I’ve taken down all the details so I can use it if I need too, our local cancer hospital has limited parking and the next public car park is 7 minutes away.. so thank you for letting me know about that.
Hey my favourite little tripe waffler-I’ve been sleeping very well here so not needed to join in the thread, but I’ll be home tomorrow night-boohoo. Maybe back to more interrupted sleep patterns once I get home. It’s been simply wonderful to have some warmth on my old bones here, and I’d happily stay longer. Back to the usual routine all too soon.

Hi guys, I've not posted much lately as we are looking after our 1yo granddaughter for a few weeks, as mum, dad, and her brothers and sisters have gone to Disney world on their "honeymoon", after a wonderful wedding last Saturday, where we baked in 32C heat, lovely, it's lashing it down today, but that's good as we need it here. I hope everyone is doing ok, and a warm welcome to you guys who've just joined, anyway baby duties calling, catch up soon, hopefully, xx
