Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

  • Hi Gill

We're in Rouen and have had a wander into the town this afternoon. There is a market here although it's not a big one. We're going to go back in again tomorrow and visit the cathedral as well.

  • Hello Fizzy

Sorry that you find yourself in the cancer club. Good luck with the chemo.

  • Ooh, how wonderful Helen. All the medieval Gothic buildings, cobblestones and indeed the cathedral. Not to mention where Joan of Arc met her grisly end. Lap it all up and enjoy. Have a cosy night in the MH hon xxx

  • Hi there Charisse Wave

Your original post has just popped up, but may I say how sorry I am to hear about Lily's diagnosis and how dreadfully unfair that cancer has hit one so young.

I'm sure Lily's doctors will do everything in their power to make her well again, so hold on to that. You need support too, so when Brian comes back and sees your post, he'll hopefully be able to give you links to forums where you can connect with others in a similar situation, and share your concerns with them.

Meanwhile, post here anytime you like and we'll offer as much support as we can. Sending Lily and yourself massive hugs and all our best wishes my love xxx
