Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

I am ok thank you just needed to get my head around what has happened.
Hi Lynne, I hope you're.ok. its a lot to take in at first, good you have you're sister. Im new to all this, ive found it hard too. Ive shared with my family and close friends and found talking had helped. Ive also found the support in this group a help, people who get it. Ive just woke up, but find if I dont actually try to get to sleep and just close my eyes and acknowledge the thoughts then let them go, I eventually drop off. That works for me anyway. Take care, lots of lovely people here ️
Thank you for getting in touch.means a lot
Good morning you lovely ladies xx Quite a few night owls about in the early hours but hopefully you're all asleep now.
Another early start for us with another appointment, this time to the lymphoedema clinic but it's a fair old journey. The alternative was treatment in late January so it was a no brainer - the things we do for love but travelling expenses will cost an arm and a leg! No matter, but I'm hoping you're all ok and any treatments are going well. Sending you all big hugs and I'm taking on Beekeeper's sound advice in future xxx
