Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

  • Odette I had another Colonoscopy last month.  They've changed the solutions again. This one, for me wasn't as bad as the 'Movieprep'. I didn't have to drink as much with it.  It was supposed to work quicker... Ha!  It was about 3:00 by the time I could risk going to bed.

  • Morning all

I was sick as a pig last night, missing the end of Strictly! I went to bed and woke up feeling fine this morning, I think I'll have a duvet day.

  • Morning all

I've got a diabetic foot check this morning and as I'm still having some neuropathy in my toes I will have to explain that I may not feel the tiny hair-like probe.

Hopefully as it's been quiet overnight you've all had a good night's sleep.

  • Morning Helen, and fingers crossed for a smooth appointment Fingers crossed

I've had a good sleep thanks, and it could be down to a Silentnight copper pillow I bought at Tesco's for half price...or it could be that I'd convinced myself it would work! xxx
